step 1.

We are in 2017. Isn’t that just CRAZYYYY?!

It’s going to be a fantastic year! So many of us are working on goals, including myself.
Based on data from iQuanti, a data driven digital marketing company, these are the most popular New Year’s resolutions in order:

  1.  Get Healthy
  2. Get Organized
  3. Live Life to the Fullest
  4. Learn New Hobbies
  5. Save More
  6. Travel

Pretty spot on if you ask me! However, each topic has an incredible amount of detail.
For example, is getting healthy composed of diet and exercise alone? Of course not! #thankgoodness

Definition of HEALTHY

  1. Free from disease or pain
  2. Showing physical, mental, or emotional well-being
  3. Beneficial to one’s physical, mental, and emotional state

Getting healthy requires practice in a bunch of different categories: fitness, nutrition, stress reduction, productivity, and personal connection.

To begin your journey of becoming a HEALTHIER version of YOU, let’s start with personal connection. Your goal is to reach out to a friend. Text, call, meet in person. Make a legitimate effort to make the joy of friendship, relationships, and positive connections with people a permanent part of our lives.

This skill is something that people dismiss as a low priority, when in reality… relationships and love truly provide appreciation, health, and ultimate happiness. It’s easy to let a friendship, a luxury, slip away after the demands of a crazy schedule and hectic work day. WE ARE CHANGING THAT!!

For the next 7 days – I challenge you to start a conversation, re-connect, have a coffee date, go for sushi, BUILD HAPPINESS and make our days brighter.

Cheers to a happier and healthier tomorrow!
